Quick Irani Chai

Chai/Tea is one beverage without consuming which half of the Indians can’t open their eyes wide to welcome a new morning. And if chai is Irani then it would be their best start for the morning. In Hyderabad the old city is full of Irani cafes doing the needful but this luxury of having Irani tea is not there everywhere. Here I am sharing a quick recipe Of making this tea at home. Remember its quick not authentic . However it tastes awesome!!!

 INGREDIENTS:

  • Condensed Milk 4 tbsp
  • Water 4 cups
  • Your Favourite Tea Leaves 2tsp/As per Taste
  • Sugar [optional]

METHOD:

  1. Boil water and tea together. Reduce flame and cook untill it is reduced to half. Add Condensed milk. Mix well and cook for 2-3 min. Condesed milk is already sweetened so check if you need sugar.Strain & serve Hot .

Notes :

  • Here I am using the condensed milk available in the market. You can make condensed milk at home by reducing full cream milk on a slow flame till 40 min. 1l milk should be reduced till 40 min. Remember “Slow Flame”
  • This will make 2 cups.
